My Value and Worth to God

The word of God says, “Let Us make man in Our own image” (Genesis 1:26). Man sinned and we lost the ability to feel that innate worth and to reflect His Image to the world around us. Through Jesus Christ, our spirits are born again and now able to reflect His Image through Christ’s life in us.

(If you have not accepted Jesus, He is asking you to come to Him now, so you can receive all these truths in you. Say, “Lord, I repent of my sins, and I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior“. All of heaven is rejoicing now! Then before moving forward here, click here and go back to the “Who Is He” page to learn first about your amazing Savior Jesus. He is who’s image you not reflect)!

The Word of God says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Choose today how you will see yourself, and begin to be “transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). This is a choice. Choose this day whom you will serve with your mind: either the truth about who you are in Christ leading to love, peace, and joy; or the enemy’s lies about who you are according to your performance, and other people’s opinions; leading to fear, rejection, loss of hope, and depression.

Step 1: Start with the first scriptural statement below under “Who I am in Christ” read it and then go to the Bible and read the actual scripture it comes from, and the scriptures before and after for context.

Step 2: Ask God to reveal more to you about this truth about your identity and journal what the Lord shows you.

Step 3: Ask God to align your heart with His Word and empower you to walk in this truth.

Step 4: Study each day, and take that truth you studied and put it on an index card, pull it out and meditate on it throughout the day. Continue the same steps with each statement.
