If God has His way, you will spend eternity with Him — no more tears, no more pain, just joy, love, and accomplishing great things with God Himself! He created man to rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and every living creature on earth, and earth itself. He is restoring our authority in Him and we will rule and reign with Him for eternity. After death, His children will live in His presence in heaven and come back with Him to rule on this earth one day.

1 Corinthians 2:7-9 No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.  But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord.  That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

So what is heaven like?

John 14:2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would have I told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.

Who is going to get you there?

John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 God saved you by His grace when you believed… Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Out of all the thousands of religions known to man, Christianity is the only one whose God came to us, to save us.

Philippians 2:6-11 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death – even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Why did HE come?

Jesus came to die for us because He loved us. We rebelled against Him and come short of His perfect standard. We needed Someone to pay the price for our sins.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.

John 3:17 God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world but to save the world through Him.

Romans 5:8 But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

What part do YOU play in receiving HIS free gift?

Believe that He is the only way to heaven, repent, and accept His death on the cross as payment for your sins.

Don’t let that word “repent” scare you. Repentance and forgiveness are gifts! They allow you to choose to turn away from behaviors and attitudes that are hurting you and keeping you disconnected from this loving God. Mark 1:15 says, “The time has come. The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Matthew 4:17 From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the kingdom of God is near.” Do you see it? To turn to God and receive His Kingdom, we must turn away from our sin. That is all repentance means, turn away from what God does not have in His Kingdom, sin, and turn to Him.

Romans 10:9-10 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raise Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

What happens now?

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, all the angels are rejoicing in heaven over you! You have been restored to your true identity as a child of God!

2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Romans 12:1-2 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—-the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
